November 23, 2010

It is almost as if she is following a schedule of some sort. Mom is continuing to follow her m.o. and had a bad day today. She was able to remain steady enough to be kept off of dialysis, however, she did carry a very high fever for most of the day. As of her last bandage change this evening, the nurses informed us that the cadaver skin still looked healthy. Please please please pray that she hangs on to it for at least as long as it takes to generate more tissue growth beneath while kicking the bacteria in her lungs.

We all love her very much and she has to know that but she must like keeping us all on our toes!

  1. WE do see the consistent pattern. makes one think there is a "plan" that only she and God know and will reveal in their own good time. Wow! What a partnership they do have. Thank you Lord for keeping Nadine safe with You for now as we continue to send her and the family our love and support. Aunt Jo, Uncle Barry and Uncle Bally's = even if he does look like Dr. Caruso. : )

  3. Just wanted to say, this has got to be one of the best ways to keep us all posted on the progress of your parents.. You are amazing! As well as your family. I always think back to just months ago when your parents would come into the Arena Bar and how my Daughter Taylor took to them! THEY ARE THE MOST AMAZING COUPLE I HAVE EVER MET! My daughter loved them, and I know they loved her just as much! Thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. LOVE YOU GUYS!
